History of the company in China

Atlas Copco's products entered the Chinese market as early as the 1920s by importing them from Europe。In the 1980s, Atlas Copco established a company in Hong Kong and also established representative offices in Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou。Between 1983 and 1985, Atlas Copco signed product licensing agreements with six Chinese companies to begin the production and processing of some products。

Since 1993, Atlas Copco has expanded its business in China by establishing joint ventures。After a period of efforts, the company began to gradually transform the original joint venture company into a 100% wholly owned company in 1998。
